SMS API:

Authkey provides event-based messaging capabilities, allowing seamless delivery of Bulk SMS, transactional messages, one-time passwords (OTP), and call-based authentication.

Voice API:

The platform facilitates OTP delivery through voice messages, providing an alternative method when text messaging faces challenges.

Email API:

Authkey.io’s email API ensures quick and reliable email delivery for tasks like password verification, account creation, OTP delivery, and email validation.

WhatsApp Business API:

Businesses can directly engage with their audience on the WhatsApp platform using Authkey.io’s API. This includes promotional messages, transactional communications, OTP delivery, and broader marketing efforts.

Send OTP:

Authkey API is specially designed to deliver the one-time password within 10 sec. The one API is fallback enable that work simultaneously on multichannel i.e. if a text message fails, the OTP will be delivered via an alternative channel like voice call & email. The whole functioning takes place with one API integration.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) API:

Authkey.io offers a specialized API for secure authentication purposes. It handles dispatching OTPs, verifying logins, and enhancing security for business software, CRM systems, and other relevant tools.

Steps to Install and Use the Kylas SMS Application:

  • Click on ‘Install App’ in the Kylas marketplace.
  • After successful installation, sign up on the app.
  • Verify your email account.
  • Browse to the Kylas marketplace and navigate to the ‘Installed Apps’ section.
  • Click on ‘View Details’.
  • Log in to the application with your email ID and password.
  • Enter the Kylas API key – get your Kylas API key from here.

Connect SMS Service Provider Account:

  • Go to the ‘SMS’ section.
  • Click on ‘Template’.
  • Enter the name of the template.
  • Note: In India, DLT registration is mandatory to send SMS. Ensure you have registered with the DLT panel.
  • Enter a 6-digit Sender ID (e.g., COBBTX) that will appear on the customer’s number.
  • Enter the DLT template ID, which is mandatory.
  • Select the Entity ID.
  • Paste the content of the DLT-approved SMS template.
  • Select the type of message (static or dynamic).
  • Click on ‘Create Template’.

Add Users in the App:

  • Navigate to ‘Manage Users’ inside the SMS app.
  • Click on ‘Add User’.
  • Enter the name and email of the user.
  • Choose the role: Member or Admin.
  • Select the corresponding Kylas user from the list of users available in your Kylas account.
  • Click on ‘Save’.
  • The users added to the app will receive an email for account verification. After verification, they can install the app and log in with their credentials.
  • Users with the ‘Admin’ role will be able to view all tabs in the SMS application.
  • Users with the ‘Member’ role will only be able to view SMS logs and templates.

Send SMS from Kylas UI:

  • After successfully setting up the SMS app, go to a Lead, Contact, or Deal’s Details page.
  • In the productivity section, click on the message icon.
  • Click the ‘New Message’ CTA.
  • Click on the ‘Send SMS’ action.
  • A pop-up will appear where you will be asked to choose the phone number and SMS template.
  • After selecting the number and template, click on the ‘Send’ button.
  • Refresh the message section to view the new entry created or sent SMS.
  • You can also view the SMS log and errors (if any) under the SMS log section of the app in the marketplace.
